Coronavirus Update

Due to the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic and current flu campaign our telephone lines are extremely busy at certain times throughout the day which the practice acknowledges. At this time we are dealing with Covid 19 Pandemic, flu season and normal day to day enquiries.

We have checked with our telephone provider and our telephone lines are working with no issues.

Our staff are working extremely hard and efficiently to handle the high volume of telephone calls taken per hour every day and we ask that our patients bear with us through this time and follow the guidelines below.

The following measures were put into place in March 2020 to ease telephone congestion and footfall to the Practice, we still require our patients co-operation and assistance to help the practice prioritise urgent telephone calls.

Repeat prescriptions - please order on the repeat prescription line: 597150 and allow 5 working days prior to attending pharmacy for prescription. We would be grateful if our patients could check with pharmacy first for prescriptions before making telephone contact with the practice.

Urgent prescription requests – if you require an urgent prescription which is required under 5 working days please telephone the main surgery number and a member of the admin team will call you back when your prescription is ready and to advise what arrangements have been made.

Results are available between 2pm – 4pm each day only, we are unable to give results over the intercom door system at the practice due to confidentiality.

If phoning to book a flu vaccination appointment please try to telephone the practice after 10.30am.
