Welcome to Portland Medical Practice

Click here to learn more about how the Holly Health App can improve your physical and mental health.

Portland Medical Practice was established in the 1920’s and has evolved into a modern general practice with consulting rooms in Kilmarnock and at The Hurlford Clinic.  Our main surgery in Kilmarnock was completely renovated in 2006 and provides a pleasant purpose-built environment for patients and staff alike. Both premises are fully disability compliant. At our Kilmarnock surgery there is a disabled parking bay, a convenient council car park and also on street parking. The Hurlford Clinic has its own private car park.

Our Clinical team and full complement of attached staff aim to offer the highest standard of healthcare to all of our patients and to improve the health and wellbeing of the local community through the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate primary care services.

We welcome new patients to the Practice and encourage them to read the information on this website and to contact our staff if they have any questions about any aspects of our service.

The Practice is not a limited partnership and is contracted to Ayrshire & Arran Health Board, for the provision of General Medical Services (primary medical services and other services).
