GP clusters were introduced in Scotland in 2016. Each practice in Scotland is a member of a local cluster of usually between six and ten GP surgeries.
Representatives from each surgery within our cluster meet regularly, and in this way, we are able to share good practice. We hope that the work we do within our cluster will help us to deliver better and more efficient care for our patients. The cluster also works closely with colleagues in the Health and Social Care Partnership. Patients are still registered with their own practice and continue to see the practice team that they have always seen. We do not share data about individual patients within the cluster – your information remains confidential as it always has done.
