Your call will be answered by an NHS 24 nurse advisor who will ask about your symptoms and advise you what to do.
If you need to see a GP out-of-hours, you will be asked to attend the ADOC (Ayrshire Doctors On Call) treatment centre at the Lister Centre, Crosshouse Hospital or, if this is not practical, the nurse advisor will arrange a home visit by the doctor on-call for you.
If you are unclear whether or not you need to see your GP or unsure of which service to use, contact NHS24 on 111. The Nurse advisors will offer appropriate advice during the normal working day.
